This type rating course concerns both airline pilots and individual trainees.

This course has been approved by the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC).

Objectives

This course is provided on a full flight simulator and enables the trainees to be familiarized with aircraft systems, check list procedures, under normal and abnormal conditions.

Contents and duration

This training course lasts 7 weeks and includes:

• Computer-based training and cockpit trainer sessions for basic technical knwoledge and familiarization with aircraft operating procedures,

• Full Flight Simulator training (33,5 hours) to practice aircraft operating normal & abnormal procedures,

• Base training on Air France aircraft during which the trainee performs 7 touch-and-go (take-offs, approaches, touch-and-go and landings).

Requirements

• CPL and valid IFR,

• Theoretical ATPL,

• Completed MCC,

• 70 hours experience as Captain,

• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate,

• Logbook's last 3 pages.

Entry level assessment

Before any registration you must complete successfully a A320 flight simulator test session.
