MULTI CREW COOPERATION

The purpose of this course is to allow a professional pilot (CPL/IR) to learn about human factors and crew cooperation concepts.
This training is mandatory before beginning any first type-rating course.
This course has been approved by the DGAC (French Civil Aviation Authority).

 

Objectives

  • Decision making and emergency situations,

  • Cockpit crew communication,

  • Multi-crew responsabilities management,

  • Guides and check list utilisation,

  • Mutual supervision,

  • Teamwork and leadership under normal and abnormal procedures.

Contents and duration

This course lasts 2 weeks and is divided into 2 parts:

  • 5 days theoretical courses (30 hours): knowledge of the aircraft, operating procedures, aeronautical rules,

  • 5 sessions on A320 fixed base simulator (20 hours): multi-crew cooperation and flight management.

 
Requirements

  • CPL and valid IFR,

  • Theoretical ATPL,

  • Valid Class 1 medical certificate,

  • Logbook's last 3 pages.

 

Entry level assessment

  • Before any registration you must complete succesfully a full flight simulator test session if the MCC is followed by a Type Rating.

  • There is no assessment for a MCC course without Type Rating.
